To adopt a rhino costs R25 000 per annum and all adoptees receive an update on their rhino bi-annually (June and December). These reports include photographs, news and all activities centered around the upkeep and well-being of their rhino. Every 2 years of the adoption period gives the adoptees an incredible opportunity to visit the reserve and witness a dehorning activity (of their rhino or any other on the reserve that is needed at the time) While dehorning is not the ultimate strategy in safeguarding this iconic species but it has proven to be very successful.
